What is the Global Education Grant?

GIRA's Global Education Grant is a micro-grant program for middle and high schools around the world to support engagement in Model United Nations and international affairs education broadly. Advisors from across the United States and around the world are invited to apply for micro-grants of up to $500 to support any costs associated with Model United Nations programming.

How long is the Global Education Grant cycle?

Application dates for the Global Education Grant 2026–2027 application cycle are still being finalized. Applications will open in Fall 2026, and will be considered on a rolling basis until April 1, 2027, or until funds are unavailable, whichever comes first.
