GIRA LOCAL

SDG YOUTH SUMMIT

SDG Youth Summit is a one-day experience for middle and high-school students from the DMV area to not only learn about the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), but also how apply the SDGs to their local communities and create meaningful action to "bring it home." Participants also meet with various Georgetown University recognized clubs to engage with real-life examples of campus activism. The SDG Youth Summit aims to further GIRA Local's mission of promoting youth International Relations (IR) education while carving a space for students to explore their IR interests in an engaging and accessible manner.
